Nu metal powerhouse LINKIN PARK is set to reveal the full schedule for an extensive North American and European tour later this week.
A post from Linkin Park Association reports that various venues across the United States, Canada, and Europe — including cities like Paris, London, Düsseldorf, and Milan — shared a new graphic that hints at the upcoming tour. This graphic, shown on a red background reminiscent of the artwork associated with LINKIN PARK’s upcoming album From Zero, displays the phrase "Counting to from Zero," with the word "to" crossed out, which refers to a lyric from an unreleased track on From Zero as well as the album title itself.
The venues' social media posts confirm that an official announcement will be made at 7 a.m. ET this Thursday, November 14.
The album From Zero, slated for release on November 15 via Warner, will be LINKIN PARK’s first album since 2017’s One More Light, their final record with late lead singer Chester Bennington. From Zero introduces Emily Armstrong as the new vocalist and Colin Brittain on drums, alongside longtime members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave "Phoenix" Farrell, and Joe Hahn. Guitarist Alex Feder will be taking on live duties for Delson for the forseeable future, as Delson stated previously that he now prefers working within the studio and writing side over the tour life. Who will be the openers? Will more venues in different areas outside of North America and UK/Europe be included in a full scale world tour? It'd be a good bet to say yes, but for now we'll wait and see.
