KITTIE is on the water right now as part of ShipRocked 2026, a heavy metal cruise on the ship Carnival Horizon. Bassist Ivana "Ivy" Vujić Jenkins is not among their ranks due to a family engagement, as explained by a post on the band's social media.
"For those joining us at @shiprocked this week, you may notice that Ivy won't be with us on this run," the band stated. "Family always comes first, and she's honoring a prior family commitment, something we fully understand and support."
Carnival Horizon, which departed on January 25, will continue its journey from Miami to ShipRocker Beach at Half Moon Cay, then Celebration Key (Carnival's new private port, and it will conclude at Nassau in the Bahamas on January 31.
Kittie also stated in the post that Jenkins will return to the stage for the band's appearance at Sick New World 2026 in April.
