Nu Metal legends Linkin Park are set to release their next single, "Over Each Other," accompanied by a music video today at 11 AM Pacific Time. This track marks the latest in a series of releases that have sparked excitement and curiosity among fans, signaling the band's ongoing evolution as they explore new sounds and themes.
"Over Each Other" follows two earlier singles from Linkin Park this year—"The Emptiness Machine" and "Heavy Is The Crown". While not much has been given away on the lyrical direction or instrumental influences, Mike Shinoda, co-lead vocalist and producer for the band, teased the new song in a recent interview, noting that it would delve into themes of personal struggle and reconciliation. "It's one of those tracks that reflects where we are now, both as individuals and as a group," Shinoda shared. "We’re not the same people we were when we started, and neither is our music."
As Linkin Park unveils "Over Each Other," fans and haters of the new lineup alike are anticipating their upcoming full length record, "From Zero" out on November 15th, which will be the band's first record following 2017's One More Light and frontman Chester Bennington's tragic death.
