The First Two Waves Of The Soundtrack For 'Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remastered' Have Been Released

As Hawk himself points out, “discovery is half the fun."

The Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater franchise is crucial to nu metal culture, with its second entry making our list of nu metal video games. The first two games got a remaster in 2020 and 2021 (depending on your platform of choice), and now the third and fourth entries will come out with remastered versions on July 11th. A total of twenty-five professional skateboarders and also Doom Guy will feature in the game, and the soundtrack for these remasters has been expanded to the point of necessitating two waves of reveals.

There are some songs that have been left off of the remaster’s soundtrack, which Tony Hawk himself has taken the heat for. That said, there is one more wave to be unveiled, and with three months to go until the game’s release, who knows what the greatest skateboarder of all time has up his sleeve for the game’s featured tunes. As he points out, “discovery is half the fun,” and given just how deep the soundtracks of the original run of games ran, perhaps the new cuts chosen will do the same for a new generation.
