One of the biggest grassroots success stories in pro wrestling today has been Scotland's Joe Hendry. From the European independents to TNA Wrestling to WrestleMania 41, the musician-turned-wrestler has commanded legions of fans to believe, parodying all manner of pop music along the way.
Back in July, we reported on fan footage of Joe Hendry teaming up with the legendary Jeff Hardy for a concert at a TNA IMPACT! taping in Kingston, RI, during which the duo sang Creed's "My Sacrifice." The song is a nostalgic one, given its use in the "Desire" promo that aired on WWF television back in 2001:
As part of TNA's Thanksgiving special this past Thursday night, the organization, a division of Anthem Entertainment, have posted the full concert from the duo, which Jeff jokingly dubs "Great Initials." The two sing "Modest" by Hardy's own band Peroxwhy?gen, in addition to the aforementioned "My Sacrifice," before being interrupted by The Nemeth Brothers
TNA's next pay-per-view Final Resolution airs this Friday, December 5th on their TNA+ streaming service.
