Dallas, Texas once again proves their station as the pinnacle of the modern nu metal scene with the release of Change is Everything by Toothpick.

The EP brings us 3 new tracks from the band, along with the single “Aluminum“ that was released last summer.
I had the pleasure of talking with Toothpick for What's Nu? Magazine at the beginning of the year, and when I say this group is going to be on up there with the name stays of the nu metal scene, I mean that with utmost confidence. The EP hits with the same level of energy that compares to listening to Linkin Park for the first time when Hybrid Theory first released. Even though there is a hint of nostalgia on the first listen, there is a palpable feeling of progression and uniqueness that makes Toothpick a stand out on their own.
Being from Dallas, Toothpick shares a friendship with fellow nu metal statesmen Bleed, where drummer Carson Wilcox (also of Narrow Head) does drum tracking for all of the songs.
