Regardless of who is really under the mask of Xer0, seeing Static-X carry on and pay tribute to their namesake frontman Wayne Static is a delight. Last month, the Corrosive Edition of the band's debut album Wisconsin Death Trip was released, commemorating 25 years of evil disco, with the first song from that iconic LP being "Push It."
At their performance at this year's Bloodstock Festival in Catton Park, UK, Static-X closed their set - or as bassist/vocalist Tony Campos put it, "execute final song protocol" - with the track, and the energy is so real and palpable.
