Brighton metalcore heavyweights Architects just dropped their new single, "Machine." The dynamic, melodic track arrives after a week of eerie, enigmatic teasers posted by the band across social media. This is the first new music from the band following the success of their eleventh studio album, 2025's Jordan Fish-produced The Sky, the Earth & All Between.
Singer Sam Carter co-wrote the track with founding member/drummer Dan Searle. This time around, Searle, who also provides synths and programming for the band, handled the production. Like The Sky, the Earth & All Between and its back-to-back #1 U.S. Modern Rock Airplay singles, "Everything Ends" and "Broken Mirror," "Machine" finds the band continuing the melodic, electronic-forward sound they achieved with Fish in the wake of lead guitarist Josh Middleton's amicable departure. To Searle's credit, this blend of guitars and synths retains considerable heft while stripping back a layer or two of Fish-gloss™.

Next month, Architects will tour Europe with the mighty KoRn for a month-long trek. Joining them as special guests will be YOUTH CODE and Pixel Grip. And the band is already looking ahead to 2027, with dates set for both Leyendas Del Rock and Dynamo Metalfest. Tickets are on sale now.
