Artio Drop Lyric Video For "Full On Fight For Fun" With As It Is

'Soul Rot' is upon us from the Leeds-based queer ragers.

Artio have unleashed their second studio album Soul Rot, but not without one more single in the form of "Full On Fight For Fun," with some help from their friends and touring buddies As It Is.

The song is an introspective, emotionally-charged rocker, serving as a brighter, happier tune in admist all the heaviness of the rest of the record. Speaking to Rock Sound, singer Rae Brazill revealed the meaning behind the song:

“‘Full On Fight’ is an ode to my sister, and our childhood. A story of growing up, changing, becoming adults and experiencing our lives together, expressing how much I love her and how far I wish to see her go. The title is the name of a game we made up as children, and the vocal sample at the end is her. She is as much this song as we are, and it’s all for her.’”

The lyric video features footage from the Brazill family archives, featuring a toddling Rae beginning their mic-commanding days at a young age and a genuinely sweet moment with their parents and newborn sibling Lily.

This completes the cycle of sorts, as Artio appeared on As It Is' track "Turn Back To Me X" last year.
