AVTT/PTTN Perform "Disappearing" on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

Mike Patton's latest outfit made their late-night TV debut this past week.

AVTT/PTTN have returned to TV this past week with a stunning performance of “Disappearing”, a track off their debut self titled album. Composed of Grammy-award nominated singer-songwriters Scott and Seth Avett and the legendary Mike Patton, the folksy project made their television debut a few months back on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. This time, they’ve come to Jimmy Kimmel Live!

“Disappearing” is a rather short song, but the performance is incredibly tight and moving. The Avett Brothers and Patton are in perfect harmony through and through alongside their backing band, with Patton picking up a series of percussive instruments himself. If you’ve got a few minutes to spare it is definitely worth the watch, even if bluesy ballads aren’t your speed.

AVTT/PTTN have also been on tour since last month, playing songs from their debut as well as Faith No More and Mr. Bungle classics. Remaining dates are as follows:

05/10 San Diego, CA
05/12 Phoenix, AZ
05/14 Austin, TX
05/15 Dallas, TX
06/10 Boston, MA
06/12 Brooklyn, NY
06/14 Baltimore, MD
06/18 Cleveland, OH
06/19 Ann Arbor, MI
06/20 Waukegan, IL
