AVTT/PTTN graced us with some folksy goodness once again on CBS's Saturday Sessions, a portion of CBS Saturday Morning dedicated to interviews and performances with various musical acts.
The trio performed "Dark Night of My Soul", "Received", and "Eternal Love", all taken from their self titled debut album AVTT/PTTN that dropped on November 14th. What began as long distance collaboration (bouncing from Scott Avett, to Mike Patton, and to Seth Avett) birthed a beautiful, moody and imaginative set of nine songs and a musical chemistry many might not have expected.
"... In the beginning stages, it was like, how do I jump into a set of music with a set of brothers? How can I blend my voice and my leanings into this? It was very delicate at first, and then once I found it, it was unfiltered," says Patton in an interview with Garden & Gun.
It's a joy seeing them doing the rounds of TV promotion, something that used to be so prevalent in the past for artists to get their names out to the world. But if you're not able to catch them on TV, they do have a North American tour coming up in 2026 hitting a city near you.
