Brazilian deathcore trio AXTY are just days away from their new album The Pain Made Me Who I Am, and have rewarded fans' patience with one more taste of what is to come. "All I Love" is a battering slab of melody and malady, representing the band at their most frenetic yet. They ping-pong between metalcore madness to smooth choruses, with a breakdown that can stand among their contemporaries.
In capturing the emotional turmoil on display in the new song, frontman Felipe Hervoso offers the following:
"’all I love’ is a song about being consumed by the fear of failing at the one thing you've dedicated your life to. It explores the highs and lows of being a small artist in the music industry, the constant pressure to stay relevant, keep growing, and prove yourself over and over again. Over time, that pressure can turn something you once loved and saved you into something that fills you with self-doubt, anxiety, and the feeling that you'll never be able to live off your dreams."

The Pain Made Me Who I Am is out this Friday, August 21st via Napalm Records. Speaking on the album and its inspirations, the band posit:
"The Pain Made Me Who I Am revolves around human emotions, particularly the darker, more difficult ones. However, rather than dwelling on suffering, we focused on the role these emotions play in personal growth and self-evolution. Resilience born from adversity, the idea that growth and self-discovery are deeply rooted in struggle, we wanted to explore how negative experiences, rather than defining us in a limiting way, become the very foundation of who we are."
The tracklist is as follows:
- pain made me
- who I am
- dismay
- selfish
- everything is beautiful
- all I love
- closer
- fragile
- break
- nothing but pain
- with me
- end this
