Bodyweb Set Leeds Ablaze with "Wait and Bleed" Cover

The UK rockers took Leeds down to Iowa with this one.

A little under 2 years ago, UK nu-hardcore outfit Bodyweb was performing a charity show to save Boom, a Leeds-based grassroots venue. November 1st saw the band return for a release show of their EP deadwired, released on September 5th via Flatspot Records/Northern Unrest.

There's no full setlist online, but at some point during the band's set, they launched into a cover of the classic Slipknot track, and... it's pretty good!

The band certainly have the energy for a cover like this, and if you've listened to their latest EP, you know they've got the skill for it too. Vocalist Louis Hardy weaves in and out of chants and screams while the crowd goes feral. Unfortunately, the video is only about 64 seconds long, so there isn't a ton to go off of, but the what was shown gives hope the band does this again, or maybe even releases it officially.

Just some really fun stuff all around. It’s a rare thing to see anyone two-step to Slipknot, but there’s a first time for everything.

Take a look for yourself:
