Primus frontman Les Claypool is a master of his craft, as his nearly four decades in the game have proven. His son Cage seems to be a chip off the creative block, as the younger Claypool animated the music video for the band's latest track "The Ol' Grizz," taken from their A Handful of Nuggs EP released earlier this year.
For the uncanny visuals of the clip, Cage used Blender to rig his animations and offer that weird texture to things. No AI here, folks, the kid has some serious talents, as well as a couple of friends who helped him with this latest, as he credits it at the end of this behind-the-scenes clip, "concoction." The practical capturing for the references in the downhill slope scene were also a thrill to see done up, though those with fears of heights or those prone to motion sickness might want to tread lightly.
