German alt-metallers Consvmer have partnered with slam-death outfit Acranius for a heavy, rending new track in "Sucht." It's a song of two parts, with the first being chaotic, bleeding into the daunting, slow death in part two. It is unflinching on all fronts, with a nu link coming from bassist Fabian Schuhmacher, who was once front-of-house engineer for nu-deathcore marvels Paleface Swiss.

The song comes from Consvmer's upcoming third album Abgrund, which is set to drop on September 26th via Out of Line Music. They are currently finalizing a fall 2026 tour, with more information on the way. On the subject of the record, the band offered the following:
"Abgrund is heavier, denser and more creative than anything we have done before. It is an album for people who do not just listen to music in the background, but want to feel it physically."
