††† (Crosses), Chino Moreno (Deftones) and Shaun Lopez’s (Far) haunting electronic side project has released its latest album, Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete, and with it, a visualizer for the single “Girls Float + Boys Cry,” featuring none other than goth rock legend Robert Smith of The Cure.
Moody and atmospheric in a way that bleeds sincerity, the four-and-a-half-minute track featuring titans of melancholy in their respective scenes is very different and yet comfortably in tune with their previous work. The culmination of classic synth-wave aesthetics with cassette-style production only adds to the ghostly feel, just in time for Halloween.
