Cum metal meets dystopian techno in this latest remix.

HEALTH have enlisted the help of Brooks Aleksander, best known for his hit "Losing Hope" and "Erase" featured in Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1, to remix their most recent song "ORDINARY LOSS." Aleksander is no stranger to remixing tracks, as previously he's remixed artists like Far East Movement and The Prodigy. The vibes Aleksander's music gives off to me is, Payday 2, Hackers, The Matrix, and a vampire club that you need the password too.

As described on the DJ's own website,

Brooks Aleksander is an uprising force in the techno scene, known for his dark, brooding, and driving soundscapes. With a signature blend of groovy rhythms and dystopian atmospheres, his tracks transport listeners beyond the boundaries of reality.

This is what is definitely what I would use to describe HEALTH and their output as of late. Aleksander's remix of "Ordinary Loss" makes me excited for the rest of the R-Type remixes. While some might not have the attention span for almost five minutes of pure techno, it's really about the vibe of the remix. The four-on-the-floor grooves, the analog instrumentation, the Reese bass. It all gets me excited for what vision both Aleksander and HEALTH have with other artists in other genres, especially electronic and dance genres. Maybe will get metal too, but odds are, we'll see very soon.
