(hed) p.e. Release New Music Video for "Waiting"

(hed)p.e. have released a new music video for their song, “Waiting,” directed by Joshua Petrino.

The video, starring Sophia Lucia Parola (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire), Rebecca DeMarco, and Lawrence Imperiale, depicts a young romantic relationship and an abusive parent that is hindering the two young women’s connection with each other, as well as their mental and emotional well being. The climax of the video presents a compelling juxtaposition of an imagined reconnection and closure (along with a Molotov cocktail), and the main character burning a love letter in reality.

Vocalist Jared Gomes stated to Knotfest:

This one's a rock banger, and I fell in love with it from the moment I heard the instrumental. The song 'Waiting' was inspired by my son's heartbreak. Witnessing your child go through the trials of young love provides a different perspective on things. It allowed me to relive some of my own youthful experiences."

“Waiting” is the latest single for (hed)p.e.’s upcoming album DETOX, to be released on December 15th via Suburban Noize Records.
