Incubus Ready To Drop Long-Awaited Ninth Album in Late 2025

The singer also revealed that at least one single will precede the album’s release, giving fans a taste of what’s to come before the full project drops.

Fans of SoCal rock titans Incubus can finally mark their calendars—at least tentatively. In a recent interview with FluxFM, frontman Brandon Boyd confirmed that the band’s highly anticipated ninth studio album is slated for an October 2025 release.

The album, which according to Boyd has already been “completed”, “mastered”, mixed”, and “just ready to go”, was once again produced by the Grammy Award-winning Brendan O’Brien, known for his work with Rage Against The Machine, AC/DC and Korn. The singer also revealed that at least one single will precede the album’s release, giving fans a taste of what’s to come before the full project drops.

This new record signifies a fresh era for Incubus, as it will be the first to feature bassist Nicole Row. Row, known for touring with the likes of Miley Cyrus and Panic! At The Disco, stepped in following the departure of longtime bassist Ben Kenney. After two decades with Incubus, Kenney left the band in 2023 following brain tumor surgery, which resulted in partial facial paralysis and permanent deafness in one ear. Despite these challenges, he recently embarked on a solo journey, releasing his debut solo LP, Powerful Buttcheeks, on March 3rd via Ghetto Crush Industries.
