K.Flay made her presence felt in the nu world with her Evanescence team-up "Fight Like A Girl" last year for the Ballerina soundtrack, but the rap-rock songstress isn't done drawing inspiration from the John Wick universe. The music video for her new song "Ants" features Matt Mercer of Critical Role fame as a John Wick-style suited badass, with K.Flay more than holding her own against him.
The song marks her first new solo music since 2023's MONO; that is, if you don't count her dubstep project 2XT. While her vocals are mostly rapped, the song has a clear rock backbone, with lyrics about corporate greed and the dog-eat-dog world we live in.
No new album has been announced at this time, but it appears as though K.Flay is just getting started.
