Just hours before the full SPIT XXV is released, Kittie have premiered the music video for the re-recorded version of "Do You Think I'm A Whore?" This follows the title track, which was released two weeks ago.
Much like the first re-recording, the biggest improvement is in frontwoman/guitarist Morgan Lander's vocals. Aside from the obvious upgrade in production values, this is allowing a new generation of fans to discover the band, and with their recent renaissance which kicked off with the Fire album cycle last year, now is as good a time as any to find one of nu metal's worst-kept secrets.
In promoting the premiere, the band called the song a "dark horse" on the original album, and expressed excitement in being "able to celebrate how awesome of a song it is."
