After making a thunderous comeback last year with Fire, Canada's own Kittie have kicked off celebrations for twenty-five years of their debut LP Spit. As such, the band have released "Spit XXV," a re-recording and slight re-imagining of the iconic title track that turned them into the low-key legends they are now.
Aside from modern production values, Morgan Lander's vocals are much cleaner on this take, in that her growls are more focused and mature than in the original recording. On the subject, she uses zero clean singing on the new track, with the bridge being moved back a bit in favor of a second chorus before it.
