With a host of nu metal's biggest names dropping songs out of nowhere, never mind the odd song that's commissioned for one of the most beloved game franchises out there, it's sometimes hard to remember the musicianship at work amidst all the ruckus. In the latest video by Drumeo, though, this is quickly remedied, as they brought in Korn's Ray Luzier to play through "Reward The Scars."
The song, which was the theme tune for Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred earlier this year, was Korn's first new material since 2023's Requiem Mass, which was itself an expanded edition of 2022's Requiem. Ray Luzier's drumming is something to behold, and those longing for the days of David Silveria's precision drumming should pay close attention, as Luzier's surgical technique behind the kit is a thing of beauty.

Luzier also recently featured on the re-recording for Accept's "Save Us," which also featured Ghost's mastermind Tobias Forge and a host of other rock and metal icons. The band have also allegedly finished what will be their fifteenth album, and with a European tour coming this fall, it may only be a matter of time before we get news about that.
