Loathe Release "Revenant" Featuring NOWHERE2RUN, Announce New Album 'A Stranger To You'

The genre-pushing nu-metalcore sensation from Liverpool are set to release their first album of new music in five years.

British nu-metalcore sensation Loathe have just announced A Stranger To You, the long-awaited follow-up to their 2021 album The Things They Believe. Along with the announcement, the band has unleashed their new single, "Revenant."

The kneck-snapping new track features additional vocals and production from NOWHERE2RUN aka Code Orange's Jami Morgan and Eric "Shade" Balderose. The new album is slated for release July 17th via SharpTone Records. NOWHERE2RUN previously collaborated with Loathe lead singer Kadeem France on their 2024 track "Ant in the Afterbirth."

The press release describes it as "Easily the band’s most sonically adventurous work to date" and promises "each moment has been designed to ensure that the six year space between releases has been more than worth the wait." The album will include their 2025 single "Gifted Every Strength" and is produced and engineered by A Stranger to You was produced and engineered Ed "Boogie" Al-Shakarchi (Boy Azooga, Metabeats) along with Loathe members Erik Bickerstaffe, Feisal El-Khazragi, and Sean Radcliffe.

Starting next month, Loathe can be seen touring Australia with special guests Static Dress. In June, band will then head over to Europe/The UK for a run of headliners, festivals, and shows supporting Grammy-winning Atlanta prog-metal titans Mastodon. The band will also make appearances at Lollapalooza in Chicago and Louder Than Life.
