Magnolia Park have just dropped their new single, "Chasing Shadows." With an emphasis on icy synths, electronic beats, and a strong R&B influence, the track sees the band continuing to expand their sound. Lyrically, the song's themes of hurt and longing pick up where their previous album VAMP left off. The band explains:
"'Chasing Shadows' deals with feeling unworthy of love and the torment of losing someone close to you. We wanted to write a song about how Aurora feels after losing her sister Ophelia in the battle against the Shadow Cult."
Coinciding with this exciting new chapter, the band will tour the UK with Don Bronco, State Champs and Yonaka, followed by an Australian tour with BABYMETAL and Bloodywood, their headlining Nights After VAMP Tour with supporting acts Silly Goose, PINKNOISE, and Downswing, and a slew of European festival dates in June.
