'Mayhem Festival' To Return in 2025 As 'Miss Mayhem,' Featuring All Female-Fronted Bands

Filmmaker and Sumerian Records founder Ash Avildsen has just announced the return of a rebranded Mayhem Festival. In a Friday interview with the Rock Feed Podcast as part of the press tour for his wrestling drama "Queen of the Ring," Avildsen revealed that the 2025 iteration of the festival will be renamed "Miss Mayhem" and feature eight female-fronted bands.

"It's all set up to be an all female-fronted bill," Avildsen revealed, much to the surprise and excitement of Rock Feed host Brian Storm. "And we have, you know, seven of the eight acts, but this eighth act is higher up at the bill. We need to make sure that it lands so it's a co-headline and all this stuff."

Avildsen was tight-lipped about what the final lineup might look like, but it's likely we'll see Sumerian artists like Kittie or Poppy in the rotation - both acts performed at the one-off Mayhem Festival reboot in San Bernardino, CA last October. We'll be revisiting this story once more details are released.
