TikTok creator Big Merla is known for her motherly parodies of Nineties and Aughts songs of all genres, and one of her latest efforts tips the baby bonnet to Slipknot. She takes the absolute baby piss out of "Duality," with a chuckle-inducing verse which just might feature the best (and possibly only?) use of the phrase "nose nachos."
In the caption, Merla reveals that the cover nearly cost her the baby piano on which she clinks and tinks away during this send-up, and given the chaos Slipknot is known for, that tracks.
Memory may serve that Merla is also the girl who peed herself at a System of a Down show over the summer. She appears to have taken it in stride, as in her Halloween parody of "Chop Suey!" she dons a shirt with "I Pissed Myself At System of a Down" while boasting facial hair like that of the legendary frontman. Given what else happened over the summer at the band's stadium tour across North America, I'd say she got off easy.
Can't say the same for that baby piano. Between these two songs, that thing took a beating.
