Earlier this year it was announced that The Callous Daoboys’ Carson Pace would be joining Plutocracy Planet, a multi-artist project led by Scott Morrow of Alarm Magazine. Dropping singles here and there in anticipation of a debut full length on July 12th, Carson made his vocal debut with the group on their most recent work, “Commence Mutation”, alongside members of Masonic Wave, Yakuza and The Dillinger Escape Plan.

With the explosive ascent the Daoboys have had since the release of Celebrity Therapist, Carson Pace has been quite the busy bee in terms of features, working with bands like Pulses., Thotcrime, Pupil Slicer, and Silly Goose among others. The Plutocracy track is a relatively quick listen at just shy of four minutes, but it doesn’t hold back one bit from its punchy intro to the jazzy ending.

Described as a “experimental socio-political super-collective”, the line-up for Plutocracy Planet is chock full of incredible musicians from across the globe, with collaborators including Igorrr, Shining (the Norwegian one), American Football and Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, just to name a few. You can check “Commence Mutation” (and the previous three singles) here!
