It's the sound of your world collapsing, and it's not a drill.

Chat Pile's second full-length album, the follow-up to their grimy, grimacing 2022 debut God's Country, will be available to preorder as soon as next Tuesday, July 16th, at 9am ET. The band and their label The Flenser teased the news in an Instagram post yesterday, leading to thousands of minor panic attacks. Amid touring seemingly nonstop for the past year, the four horsemen of apoplexy have been priming blood pressures since February with brief updates on the sophomore effort's progress and gradually lengthening set times with casual inclusions of brand new songs.

The Flenser also revealed in its email announcement to members of the label's SERIES 666 series that it will include "an exclusive vinyl edition with silk-screened cover art" in releases shipped. This email either erroniously reported the preorder time as 6am on Tuesday, or members will have a whole three hours to mop up merch before the rest of the riffraff.

Details on the new album will follow. Chat Pile are currently gearing up to play LA's Sound and Fury Festival on Sunday with the likes of Fleshwater, Full of Hell, and Harm's Way.
