System Of A Down Celebrate "Chop Suey!" Reaching Two Billion Streams

It is the band's most-streamed track to date.

System Of A Down celebrated in a big way over the weekend, with their landmark single "Chop Suey!" passing two billion streams. The song, which was famously going to be called "Suicide," cracked the one billion mark some time ago, but it's made its second lap nearly a quarter of a century after its initial release.

Amusingly enough, drummer and amateur gender theorist John Dolmayan recounted playing the song for a small crowd back in the day, which saw guitarist/vocalist/"far middle" enthusiast Daron Malakian question if Dolmayan knew what the hell he was talking about.

This never becomes normal to me , I remember the days playing to four people including the bartender.
@johndolmayan_ you sure that was System?

They may trust in one's self-righteous suicide, but Malakian doesn't seem to trust Dolmayan's memory any further than he can throw it.

One time for old time's sake, check out the legendary "Chop Suey!" music video, which itself has over 1.5 billion views at time of publication, below:
