On August 24th, 2023, it was shockingly revealed by WWE official Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, that professional wrestler Windham Rotunda, better known as Bray Wyatt, had passed away at the age of 36. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com later stated that Bray had contracted Covid-19 which intensified a heart issue, and although he was recovering quickly, things took a turn and he suffered a heart attack.

The expected outpouring of love and support from the pro wrestling community has been truly touching, and his reach even crossed over to other industries, as Code Orange has shared their own thoughts:

“Rest In Power buddy. You helped make our childhood dreams come true. You rode for us at every single turn and truly believed in us. More than people even know. Thank you for letting us be a small part of your story. See you on the other side,”

The band has previously worked on a version of Bray's theme music, “Shatter.”

We at the Nu Metal Agenda want to send our deepest condolences to the Rotunda family and friends.
