PeelingFlesh just dropped! The Oklahoma City slamming gangster groove unit announced their upcoming self-titled album back in July, but now we finally have an official release date and our first taste of the new record. This lead single, entitled "Murderous Intent," features guest vocals from Missing Link singer Mike Ryan. The album, PeelingFlesh, arrives November 27 via Unique Leader Records.
About the new album, vocalist Damonteal Harris had this to say:
It’s ruthless and vicious. Solidifying that Oklahoma/New York connection. This has been our baby for the last year. An insane mixture of drop G and Drop F songs that are some of our favorite and craziest songs we’ve written to date and we’re extremely stoked to get them out finally.
PeelingFlesh is produced by the band's guitarist, Mychal Soto, alongside Dave Otero (Archspire, Cattle Decapitation, Khemmis). Engineering duties were handled by Otero. In addition to Ryan, the album features guest appearances from JayWay, Devin Swank of Sanguisugabogg, Bridget Lynch of Stabbing, and Extermination Dismemberment. In collaboration with Metal Injection, the album will be available in a limited-edition smoke-colored vinyl. More details here. PeelingFlesh want all the smoke, and now you can have some too!

"Murderous Intent" shows the band continuing to refine their sound while keeping one foot planted firmly in the absurd. The few discernable lyrics paint an especially aggressive tag-teaming from Harris and Ryan. To say nothing of opening response to the "$500,000 or dinner with Jay-Z" meme that keeps tripping up fools too deep into the #grindset.
