Sick New World Confirm Two Dates In 2026

This is a sick new development in the return of the beloved festival.

The official Sick New World website has been updated yet again, this time with a link to sign up for more information on the Las Vegas rendition that we've come to expect, but surprisingly, there is also a link to sign up for information for a Texas date. The past two SNW festivals have taken place solely in Las Vegas, so an additional date is unexpected but welcome. While the official Sick New World social media accounts have not posted anything about the recent teases and leaks, billboards in Las Vegas have confirmed the local show to occur on April 25th, 2026 and the Fort Worth, Texas show to take place on October 24th, 2026.

It begs the question, are both dates going to host the same bands, or will the lineups differ? While it is very cool to add another date in a different area of the country, many people have been calling for the festival to take place over a weekend rather than cramming everything into one day. I don't know if they will ever do that, but we can hope. System Of A Down is all but confirmed to be the headliner, but hopefully the next lineup(s) will include more nu metal acts than the previously planned 2025 edition, especially newer up and coming artists who have been doing their part in keeping the scene alive and fresh.

We will continue to keep you updated as this story develops.
