Upon A Burning Body Drop From DevilDriver Tour Due To Positive COVID Tests

The show must go on, but thoughts go out to the UABB crew.

Unfortunate news from the camp of Upon A Burning Body, as a statement released on Saturday (August 29th) reads as follows:

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances and the safety of others, we will not be playing the remainder of the 'Strike & Kill Tour".

Some of our camp has tested positive for COVID and it just wouldn't be right to continue putting everyone else at risk.

We are sorry, and it hurts us to not be able to play these shows. We promise to make it up to everyone soon.

Thank you for understanding.

-UABB & CREW

The tour, which is commemorating the release of DevilDriver's new album Strike And Kill, will continue on with Ov Sulfur supporting and DevilDriver headlining. See below for the remaining dates of DevilDriver's tour:

08/30 – Salt Lake City, UT @ The Depot
09/01 – Boise, ID @ Treefort Music Hall
09/02 – Reno, NV @ Club Underground
09/03 – Sacramento, CA @ Goldfield
09/04 – San Jose, CA @ The Ritz
09/05 – Anaheim, CA @ House of Blues

Our thoughts go out to the Upon A Burning Body family during this time. May this be a reminder that as much as we wish to forget about it, COVID is still very much out there. Be safe out there, friends.
