Alternative metal act ONI have released a new EP today in Genesis Pt. II, and with it comes a music video for the song "What I've Become." The track was co-written and produced by Josh Gilbert of Spiritbox, and features some low-end riffing and commanding vocals.
Frontman and group namesake Jake Oni had this to say about the song (transcription by ThePRP):
“‘What I’ve Become‘ is such a huge song! It was a song that just flowed when me and Josh started writing it. The song is about not loving a version of yourself! We shot the music video on tour in Charlotte NC, was a crazy day as we flew in, shot the music video and then played a show 3 hrs later. I know this will be a fan favorite as it’s been loved by everyone I have shown it to.”
The first of the band's Genesis EPs released back in January. Both are available for streaming and purchase now.
