Summer Breeze Open Air has closed shop for the 2025 festival, which means the first wave of bands for next year's event have been announced. There is a fair amount of nu representation among the 50 acts confirmed for next year's affair, which will run from August 12-15 in Dinkelsbühl, Bavaria, Germany.
For those of us in the nu world, Paleface Swiss, Mushroomhead, ten56., and KimDracula are in the first wave of a reported 130 bands that will take part in the 2026 run. Top billing goes to Helloween, In Flames, and Arch Enemy, with legendary metal bands such as Testament, Cryptopsy, and Deicide rounding out the first round.
