God damn it, I love it when women.
After over a week of teaser images and videos, the supergroup of Poppy, Amy Lee, and Courtney LaPlante have released their single "End of You," and if this doesn't elevate them to the upper echelon of the metal hierarchy, nothing will.
The "mother, daughter, and holy Spiritbox," as some on the internet have lovingly dubbed this triumvirate, share vocal duties on this powerful number, with this She-vengers of heavy making for a team-up that will leave even the most diehard and trve of metal fan giddy as a school child. Instead of leaning in one direction or another, it's enough of each woman's sound to make fans of all three happy.
Interesting point of order: the collaboration was released to Sumerian Records' YouTube channel, with the label being Poppy's home. It is also listed with Poppy as the main artist on Spotify, with Amy Lee and Spiritbox (not LaPlante, interestingly enough) as the features. This does raise questions as to what the future will hold for this assembly as far as future releases or even more music with the three singers. But we can set that speculation to one side and enjoy what they've given us, cuz damn it, we're eating good today, friends.
