Poppy has announced her sixth album, "Negative Spaces," following her crushing single, "They're All Around Us." The genre blending and bending solo artist's next full length release is slated to drop via Sumerian Records on November 15th. With last year's more electronic focused LP, "Zig," and its juxtaposition with Poppy's latest single, as well as her noted heavier collaborations with Bad Omens on "V.A.N." and Knocked Looses, "Suffocate," there's no telling what listeners will get, and for many of her fans, that's part of the love for her music. Co produced by ex-Bring Me The Horizon member Jordan Fish, the album is sure to continue Poppy down the trajectory of pushing boundaries and exploration within multiple genres and styles of music. According to The Needle Drop, the tracklist is rumored to have 13 songs besides the previously two released singles of this year, "New Way Out, and the previously mentioned, "they're all around us." Poppy's press release for the album dubs it "sonic adventurism," and we can only hope that we see as much of the dynamic scope Poppy can provide as possible.
Poppy announced the album via a 90 second clip of an assumed unheard song on the record. Watch it below.
