The Road to WrestleMania is upon the wrestling world, and as the last few years have shown us, that means that 2K is gearing up for its latest installment in the long-running wrestling game franchise. After returning to form the last two years, WWE 2K25 is set to release on March 14, 2025, with the special Deadman and The Bloodline Editions granting one weeks’ early access on March 7. The soundtrack for the game has been announced in full, with a fair bit of nu and nu-adjacent representation on the lineup.
“Suffocate” by Knocked Loose featuring Poppy, “Hurt You” by Spiritbox, and “RATATATA” by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy will all be on the soundtrack to the game. The first was nominated for the Best Metal Performance Grammy, losing out to Gojira’s “Mea culpa (Ah! Ça ira!)," while Spiritbox also saw a nomination, albeit with “Cellar Door.” “RATATATA” was featured as the official theme song for WWE’s Bash in Berlin premium live event in August.
The aforementioned Gojira also features on the soundtrack with their song “Only Pain.”
