In the midst of her stint as touring guitarist for Marilyn Manson and hiatus of her genre-bending band Code Orange, Reba Meyers has announced her debut solo album, after a trio of singles released within the last year. Clouded World is set to release on August 25th, and while little has been unveiled about the release, we know that its title track, as well as the previously released singles "Certain Uncertainty" and "Got Your Hold On Me," will be among its cuts.
The music video for said title track has been released, directed by Sanford Worth and Tony Aguilera. The song is punk rock at its core, with a driving pace and Meyers' snarling vocal delivery fitting for a song about a fucked up world. Given her other band's roots in hardcore punk, such a vibe isn't a stretch.
