As their European investigation continues, SKYND have put out two singles from behind the Red Curtain in "Andrei Chikatilo" and "Tamara Samsonova." Previously, they teased a third installment to what would be Chapter VII, which has taken inspiration from monsters of Russian history. Over the weekend, the duo dropped a taste of what is to come, as well as a clip of fans on the ongoing Dead Serious tour getting a first taste of the song.
Fan speculation is leading the conversation of the third single's subject to Mikhail Popkov, known as "The Werewolf" and "The Wednesday Murderer." While death sentences are on a formal moratorium in Russia, Popkov is serving multiple life sentences for 91 counts of aggravated murder, among several other vile charges.
Time will tell what the final case of Chapter VII will be, as the song will drop Friday, May 8th. This summer, SKYND will be playing a handful of festivals, including Wacken, Bloodstock, and M'Era Luna. Check out their website for more information.
