Brooklyn alt-rapper Sophie Hunter has gone viral in recent years with her songs "2 shots" and "CVNT," but on her new song "Break Shit," she adds some guitar to the mix with a play on the 0-10-12-13 riff that carried nu metal for years. Time-tested, nu-approved, and we see you, Sophie. It's a bit more chilled out than say, "Break Stuff," which might be the titular inspiration for the track, but it's still got groove and some low-tuned gruff.

The crimson-haired MC has teased a music video for the track with some behind-the-scenes photos on her Instagram. By the looks of things, she's in a rage room, and one photo has her with a flail, so we're going overtly literal with this concept.
