Deathcore titans and nu metal aficionados Suicide Silence have announced their new album Graceless, following on from the return of guitarist Alex Garza to action earlier this summer. To mark the occasion, the band have dropped the title track in both streaming and music video forms, and it's a short sharp shock. A punishing piece of death metal clocking in at just under two minutes, it is a return to form for sure.
The music video features performance footage from their performance at this year's Hellfest, with crowd killing and pits galore. All due respect to the departed Mitch Lucker, but you could tell someone who was only paying so much attention that the vocals on this track were his and it'd be plausible. Eddie Hermida isn't trying to do Suicide Silence karaoke - and that's a phrase that conjures one hell of a visual - but a little worship of the former frontman and one of deathcore's biggest "what if? stories never hurt.
