Atlanta-based numetalcore renegades The Callous Daoboys recently took to social media to announce a string of summer dates in Europe. Building off the success of February's Heaven Across Europe & UK Tour, this new tour will include some of the band's first even headlining shows in Scandinavia. Titled European Circuit 2026 and comprised of shows in Gothenburg, Oslo, Helsinki, Nantes, and Bordeaux, the tour will culminate with the previously announced performances at Resurrection Fest and Roskilde Fest.

The band included the following message to let European fans know the excitement is mutual:

EUROPE! WE JUST CAN’T STAY AWAY FROM YOU! THIS SUMMER! SOME OF OUR FIRST EVER HEADLINING SHOWS IN SCANDINAVIA! BIG OL FESTIVALS! OH ME OH MY! COME HANG OUT!

But wait, there's more! As if the headlining dates weren't enough, lead singer Carson Pace took to Twitter to tease the band's next release with the following cryptic message:

We aren’t doing a deluxe edition of I Don’t Want to See You in Heaven or God Smiles II but we are doing a secret 3rd thing that is (in my opinion) more exciting

Seconds later, Pace added:

God Smiles II will probably happen tho

While it remains to be seen just what the band has in store, it's nice to see the band putting their own spin on this current trend that too often sees artists re-packaging records in an effort to squeeze every penny out of release cycles.

2026 is shaping up to be quite the year for The Callous Daoboys. In addition to new music, next month The Daoboys will hit the road with Harrison Gordon and Super Sometimes as support for Arm's Length on their There's A Whole World…Tour. In November, the band will head back to Europe (and the UK), yet again, this time in support of influential English post-hardcore veterans Enter Shikari. Check out tour dates and the music video for "Lemon" below.
