The Callous Daoboys are back with new material, less than one year after the release of I Don't Want To See You In Heaven, and they are not fucking around.
The Atlanta mathcore outfit has let loose the first song of their upcoming fourth album, "Gigantic Parasitic Tongue." While seasoned fans should know better than to try to pigeonhole or limit their expectations, this track goes full-tilt psycho from the jump. Blast beats, break beats, melodic metalcore, a violin section, and even a goddamn pig squeal from vocalist Carson Pace.
In short, it's four minutes and change of musical madness, and it's wonderful.
Check out the song and its music video, directed by Sam Hahn, below:
In the hours since the song's release, Pace has offered insight into the song's creation and how we got here. When it came to inspiration behind the track, he cites acts such as Enter Shikari and Converge, giving the nod to metalcore royalty:
"Bands that inspired this one were END, Underscores, Manchester orchestra, enter Shikari, and converge"

On the subject of Enter Shikari, with whom TCD are about to tour Europe and the United Kingdom, Pace further promises the new track, as well as "something else." Commence hype.
Yes. Along with something else. https://t.co/Tu8gFra6QG
