The Twisted Transitioner To Bring "Divorced Drag Rock" Back To Cleveland's Legendary No Class

The nu metal drag king is bringing back his "Divorced Drag Rock" concept to Cleveland's iconic venue No Class.

Once upon a time, your humble edit0r-in-chief was a drag performer. This was well before The Boulet Brothers' Dragula hit airwaves, so folks who were performing things that weren't top 40 or Drag Race-related were damn hard to find. The idea of a nu metal drag king felt like a pipe dream in that age, but damn it, we have one now in The Twisted Transitioner, and later this month, he's bringing back dad rock with a vengeance.

Emanating from Cleveland's legendary No Class, "Divorced Drag Rock 2" will see six performers paying tribute to the new cultural flashpoint that is so-called "dad rock." Despite resistance from some more prominent figures in the scene, nu metal is very much in that sphere, so fuck it, let's celebrate it.

The show, taking place on Sunday, September 28th, will include The Twisted Transitioner, who we interviewed earlier this year, as well as Nick Daniels, Rocky Switch, Frieda von Freakum, Androntt, and Inferno Joe.

Twisted Transitioner will also be opening for your favorite drag queen's favorite drag queen and RuPaul's Drag Race season 15 champion Sasha Colby on her Stripped II tour soon, so we'd recommend seeing him now before he gets all popular and shit.

Doors will open at 5:30pm, and the show has a $10 cover. No Class is located at 11213 Detroit Avenue in Cleveland, OH.
