Tom Morello has officially announced the “Power to the People Festival,” a politically charged music event set to take place on October 3, 2026 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. The festival poster promises “A Day of Peace, Love, Justice, and Music,” bringing together rock, punk, hip-hop, and activist voices for a massive one-day event in Columbia, Maryland.
Morello shared the announcement on social media, writing:

EQUALITY! & ROCK N ROLL!- taking place Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. Register for pre-sale access now. Pre-sale begins Friday at 10AM ET. General sale begins Saturday at 10AM ET.”

The lineup includes performances from Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews, Tom Morello, Joan Baez, Jack Black, Dropkick Murphys, Cypress Hill, Killer Mike, Serj Tankian, Brittany Howard, Taylor Momsen, The Linda Lindas, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, Matt Cameron, grandson, The Neighborhood Kids, and a Shepard Fairey DJ set. The poster also teases a special guest appearance from Bruce Springsteen.
Additional featured performers listed alongside Morello include his son Roman Morello, RYFEL, Ian, Yoyoka Soma, and Hugo Weiss.
