Fear Factory did not quite found industrial metal, but they did revolutionize it, particularly so with their 1995 breakthrough album Demanufacture. With singles like "Replica" and heavy hitters like "Self-Bias Resistor," the band's sophomore LP stands up today, with the theme of man vs. machine being all too real in this generative AI-loving world we're in.
As such, the band will be celebrating 30 years of Demanufacture with a tour across the US this fall, in addition to their previously-announced dates alongside Cavalera, who themselves will be celebrating 30 years of Sepultura's iconic Chaos A.D.
