Legends of metal will collide next spring in stadiums all across North America, as the mighty Metallica have announced the continuation of their M72 tour, this time boasting the tagline "In The Round at the 50 Yard Line." Joining the biggest-selling metal band of all time are Limp Bizkit and Avatar, in a collision of new, nu, and classic heavy music.

Metallica's influence on metal as a whole cannot be overstated, but one has to wonder if Limp Bizkit, particularly Fred Durst, would join Metallica for a rendition of "(Welcome Home) Sanitarium," in order to recreate the iconic MTV Icon performance from 2003?
