Nu metallers Primer 55 are now back touring and recording new material. This time they are co-headlining with Smile Empty Soul, with Makes My Blood Dance to open on all dates. The tour has dates spanning the beginning of February to the end of February on the 24th. All dates will be in the midwestern and southern states of The US.
Primer 55 have cancelled their supporting south America dates with Ill Niño and (hed)p.e. to focus on touring. As such, this might be the one and only chance to see potential new and old material before the band goes in the studio. This will mark the last time in two decades that the band has recorded and released new material.
In a recently deleted Instagram post, the band announced:
“DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL PRIMER 55 WILL NOT BE ABLE TO JOIN OUR FRIENDS IN ILL NINO AND HED FOR THE UPCOMING SOUTH AMERICAN SHOWS SUMMER. WE APOLOGIZE AND WE HOPE TO YOU ALL SOON....“This decision is unrelated to the promoters or bands.”
–PRIMER 55“
A statement from Ill Niño is suggesting this cancellation was due to travel issues. At this time, Ill Niño has not announced a replacement for those Latin American dates.
